We also stressed the fact that the Good Union County Good Samaritan CAN NOT continue its mission at this pace without burning the note and more funding in general - Times are tough and no one should be without food and hope so PLEASE give when and where you can -

We would like to extend a special thank you to Shonna Floyd and Paul Clifton, co-directors of Union County Good Samaritan, for taking time to come speak to our club!

We enjoyed learning more about the wonderful work their organization does to serve individuals and families in need throughout Union County. Their dedication to helping others and making a positive difference in our community is truly appreciated! We would once again like to thank them for taking the time to share with our club and for all that they do to make Union County a better place!

The Daily Journal has come alongside the pantry to bring awareness to the great need that stands before us - Buy a shirt - Donate money - Donate food - VOLUNTEER - I would LOVE for others to "take the pantry for a test drive" and see for yourself what we do, how we do it, who we do it for, and most importantly WHY we do it and WHY it must be done to serve the underserved within the community. Thank you all for your current and present support. :)

Union County Good Samaritan, a nonprofit, all-denominational organization that helps residents in need with everything from food to limited rent and utility assistance, is selling T-shirts for fundraising to help
