West Sangamon Public Library A small, rural public library, WSPLD is located in New Berlin, IL, just off I-72 west of Springfield

Our Spooky Vault is open for visitors, if you dare 😳. Enter the vault and IF you make it to the back and IF you dare reach into the pumpkin head to get candy and IF you make it back out of the vault, you will be entered into a drawing to win a Halloween bucket of goodies. The winner will be drawn the week before Halloween. Good luck 🎃👻💀

8th Annual Library Crawl
October 1st - 31st, 2026.

A fun way to introduce our library patrons to the other libraries of the IHLS service area. Patrons visit area libraries throughout the month of the crawl and get a passport stamp at each library they visit. Some patrons have tried to visit every library in the crawl! The main purpose, though, is to help participants discover the many, many great resources available to them with their library cards. Stop by the library to get your passport. Happy Crawling!
