❄️ Our Annual Winter Blanket Drive is HERE! ❄️
It’s that time again!
Last year, our blanket drive was such a beautiful success. Because of the generosity of our community, we were able to provide a new blanket to each of our senior center members and homebound seniors, and we even had enough to bless several local senior living facilities nearby. It was truly something special to be a part of.
This year, we’d love to do it all over again! Our goal is to provide one new blanket for every senior we serve — bringing a little extra warmth, comfort and coziness to our seniors this winter. 🥰
NEW blankets only, please.
📦 A donation box will be available at the Senior Center near reception.
📅 Donation deadline: December 1

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Amy with Hope Hospice for visiting 7Ten Activity Center this week and sharing an educational presentation on Breast Cancer Awareness in Seniors. 🎗️

Education and awareness are so important at every stage of life, and we appreciate Amy taking the time to share valuable information with our members and help encourage conversations about health, prevention, and early detection.

🎉 NEW DOORS, THANKS TO YOU! 🚪💙

We’re excited to share our beautiful new automatic front doors! Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who supported us during The Big Give this year, we were able to make this wonderful improvement to our center.

Your support makes a real difference and helps us create a more welcoming and accessible space for everyone who walks through our doors. We are so grateful to our community for believing in our mission and helping us continue to serve!

💜 Walking Together for a Cause That Touches So Many Lives 💜

What a wonderful day at the Alzheimer’s Walk in New Braunfels! Our team from the Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation was proud to show up, walk together, and support a cause that affects so many individuals and families in our community.

It was truly heartwarming to see so many caring people and local organizations come together to raise awareness, offer support, and remind families that they are not alone. 💜

Thank you to everyone who participated, organized, and supported this meaningful event. Together, we can make a difference, one step at a time!

It’s that time again!

Last year, our blanket drive was such a beautiful success. Because of the generosity of our community, we were able to provide a new blanket to each of our senior center members and homebound seniors, and we even had enough to bless several local senior living facilities nearby. 🌟 Meet our Members 🌟

We’re incredibly proud of our members, Dan and Faye, who recently represented 7Ten at a local networking event as part of a special member panel alongside Executive Director Chris Smith. They shared how 7Ten has made a difference in their lives—and we couldn’t be prouder! ❤️

💪 Dan & Faye are both active participants in our fitness classes and believe in staying strong and moving forward.

🎲 When Dan isn’t exercising, you can often find him at 7Ten playing Mexican Train with friends. He also shared how important Veterans Coffee is as a place for veterans to connect, share their stories, and be heard.

💙 Faye’s story is one of strength and independence. Despite the health challenges she has faced, she continues to stay active and work toward maintaining her independence. Through our Moving & Strengthening classes, she has improved her strength and mobility and is able to do more of the everyday activities she enjoys.

Dan and Faye remind us that 7Ten is more than a place to exercise—it’s a place to connect, have fun, build friendships, and belong.

Thank you, Dan & Faye, for being wonderful 7Ten ambassadors!
