Re-elect State Rep. Thomas O'Dea for the 125th District in the State House.

Honesty Matters...
Integrity Matters...
Proven and Trusted Leadership Matters...

We expect better from any Democratic opponent running for state office to not run deceptive ads with misstatements and inaccurate information. So please get the REAL FACTS.

Results Matter: New Canaan's Tom O'Dea, State Representative, 125th District and is the Deputy Minority Leader of the State House. He ensured that legislation passed to reform 8-30g with a "friendly amendment" that was supported by the House Majority Leader, State Rep. Jason Rojas. That amendment allowed New Canaan and any other municipality to once again get credit (HUE points) for past affordable housing developments which can be used towards any future moratoriums. This amendment was critical because the CT Dept. of Housing unexpectedly changed the way it had treated holdover points and moved the goal post so New Canaan would not have gotten credit for its affordable developments at Millport and Canaan Parish for future moratoriums. He skillfully asked the right questions on the floor of the House as the bill was raised to ensure legislative intent was clear for posterity. That is proven leadership and experience. Tom is well respected on both sides of the aisle both in New Canaan and in Hartford - we need his continued leadership to represent our local interests at the state level.

Be sure to get the REAL facts and let's bring checks and balances back to Hartford.. Unfortunately, the bar has been lowered in this election cycle. Be sure to get the REAL facts. Remember, get in the know BEFORE you vote!

It's time for change

Connecticut has FEWER private sector jobs than the beginning of 2020, the 5th-worst of any state.

Under Gov. Lamont, government has gotten bigger and more costly, but fewer and fewer taxpayer are left to support the excess. That’s why our taxes have gone up under his admin., while most states have cut theirs.

This is why it’s time for change. We will bring growth, affordability, and accountability to Connecticut at last!

As we mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we celebrate more than the signing of a historic document. We honor an extraordinary act of courage, purpose, and conviction, and an idea that changed the course of human history: that all people are created equal and possess the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The Declaration of Independence was an act of extraordinary courage. Its signers staked everything on the conviction that people can govern themselves, and that legitimate power flows from the consent of the governed.

Since 1776, for two and half centuries, Americans have worked, sacrificed, and served to bring our nation closer to those founding principles. Our history is not a story of perfection, but it is a remarkable story of progress—made possible by citizens willing to defend liberty, uphold the rule of law, strengthen their communities, and place the good of the country above personal interest.

Today, America remains the world’s greatest example of constitutional self-government. Our system gives citizens a voice and allows disagreement to be resolved through debate, law, and elections rather than force. As a constitutional republic, it also recognizes that even the power of the majority must be limited by law and that fundamental rights must not rise or fall with public opinion, election results, or the preferences of those temporarily in power.

As we celebrate this historic anniversary, let us renew both our gratitude for the nation we have inherited and our commitment to the principles that sustain it. Let us honor those who have served by protecting the liberties they defended, strengthening the institutions entrusted to us, and ensuring that freedom and opportunity endure for generations to come.

America is not sustained by rights and institutions alone. It is sustained by citizens committed to preserving them—citizens willing to accept responsibility, participate in civic life, respect the law, serve their communities, and stand for what is right. That commitment requires courage not only on battlefields and in public office, but also in everyday life: the courage to speak honestly, listen respectfully, fulfill our obligations, and place the common good above personal convenience.

“We the People” inherited America’s promise. We now bear the responsibility to preserve it—and, with courage, purpose, conviction, and love of country, to carry it forward.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

One of he original 13 colonies, it’s a shame the supermajority policies continue with anti business policies and erode the zoning local control that has made our state such a great place to live and raise a family.
