Today was such a fun day for both our students and staff! From Halloween fun and trick-or-treating for staff to our undercover spirit day and the Thriller flash mob, today was a great reminder of what makes our CCPS family so special!

A special shout-out to the following staff members who stepped up and helped make today a success:

👏 Mrs. Jessica Belcher — Thank you for gladly stepping in to serve lunch to our students when the cafeteria was short-staffed. Your willingness to jump in wherever needed is what teamwork is all about!

👏 Melinda Huffman and the Morale Mafia — Thank you for putting together the staff trick-or-treat scavenger hunt! Your creativity and efforts brought extra fun, laughter, and Halloween spirit to our schools today!

👏 Kellie Stevens — Thank you for organizing our undercover spirit day, challenging staff to dress like Michael Jackson, and coordinating the Thriller flash mob! Your creativity and willingness to bring fun and excitement to our schools made today extra special for both students and staff!

These are just a few examples of the amazing people we have at CCPS who are always willing to step up, pitch in, and go the extra mile for our students and one another.

It takes a special team to make the magic happen, and I am so thankful to work alongside people who make our schools a fun, supportive, and caring place to be! 💙💛

Thank you for all you do, CCPS!

SHOUT OUT to Miranda Reeder:

Thank you, Miranda Reeder, for creating an amazing experience for the third grade students with Market Day. All of the kids had a blast creating and "selling" their products. This was a fabulous project that allowed students to have hands-on experience in dealing with commerce and sales. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to make this happen!

Thank you for all you do for CCPS!
