Henry County Extension We're part of the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University off-campus information network. We deliver information, education, and solutions.

And we grow ideas into better communities, stronger local economies, and healthier lives. Kentucky’s two land-grant universities, the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University, serve as partners in conducting educational programs through Cooperative Extension. The program delivery process involves Extension faculty, county agents, advisory council members, volunteer leaders and the general public. Vision: Kentucky Cooperative Extension is the educational resource for all Kentuckians that serves as a catalyst to build better communities and improve quality of life.

📖 The Agricultural Exemption License Guide provides information to help farmers understand the license process and use the MyTaxes portal. Current agricultural exemption licenses are scheduled to expire on December 31, 2026, so now is a good time to review the renewal process and prepare!

Join us for Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association Week! There will be a pumpkin decorating contest on October 13th from 4:30 to 6:30, and a chili cook off October 14th from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Henry County Extension Office. Pumpkins and painting supplies will be provided. Pumpkins will be judged at the chili cook off. Pumpkin divisions: Little Sprouts (4-7 years) Youth (8 to 12 years) and Teen/Adult (13 years and up)
