William Penn High School students are putting their storytelling skills to work! 🎥 Senior Jeremiah Chancey sat down with Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester for an interview exploring the power of conversation, leadership, and civic engagement.

Produced by William Penn students in New Castle, Delaware, this video showcases the talent, creativity, and real-world experience our students gain through media production.

“My Hispanic heritage is an important part of who I am, and it gives me a unique perspective as the Student Representative on the Colonial School Board. I am proud to represent my culture, my community, and the diverse voices of students across our district. I want every student, regardless of their background, to know that their voice matters, their experiences are valued, and they deserve a seat at the table where decisions are made. Representation matters, and I hope to inspire others to embrace their heritage and become leaders in their communities.”

A huge thank you to our partners at EDIS and surf bagel for feeding our students this morning before our homecoming games and festivities. Both organizations provided food with EDIS catering breakfast for the athletes to fuel them up for the day! Great shooting of the power of we in our community.
