The Generals exist primarily as a part of the Harlem Globetrotters' act, effectively being stooges for the Globetrotters. While the Globetrotters play tricks and perform spectacular displays of skill for the crowd, the Generals attempt to play a "normal" game of basketball. The Generals' games involve playing genuine basketball at times, but also not interfering in the Globetrotters' tricks. Almost every game has ended in a resounding win for the Globetrotters.

A huge thanks to the Federal Reserve & their Director of Research, Kartik Athreya for presenting data and analysis to our Rockland businesses, non-profits, residents and elected officials. A wonderful day for all involved.

To say that the Pinnacle Awards are back would be an understatement. After five years of hibernation, last night's energetic and festive dinner and awards ceremony was a testament to the amazing friends, co-workers, leaders, business owners and corporations that make the Rockland Business Association and Rockland County a powerful alliance.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees who made the event worthy of its name.

What an incredible night at the Rockland Business Association Pinnacle Awards dinner! Jawonio is beaming with pride tonight.

A huge congratulations to Sabrina HoSang Jordan , a dedicated member of the Jawonio Foundation Board, for being honored as Businesswoman of the Year! Her leadership and commitment are truly inspiring.

We also want to extend a warm congratulations to Mike Loewenberg, a valued member of the Jawonio Corporate Board, who was a deserving finalist for Small Businessperson of the Year.

And finally, a special moment for Jill Warner, our former CEO, with Diana Hess, our Chief Communications Officer, accepting the well-deserved 2020 Chairman’s Award for Business Excellence on Jill’s behalf. (This recognition, delayed due to COVID, is a testament to Jawonio’s enduring commitment to the community)
