On Saturday, I had the honor of attending the celebration of Gloria Zoda’s 90th birthday. What a remarkable milestone for a truly remarkable woman.
It was wonderful to see Supervisor George Hoehmann and Clarkstown Councilman Jon Valentino recognize June 6 as “Gloria Zoda Day” in honor of her many years of service and dedication to our community.
Gloria’s legacy reaches far beyond her accomplishments. She is a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her kindness, leadership, and commitment to Clarkstown have touched countless lives over the years.
God bless Gloria and thank you for all that you have done for our community. May your 90th birthday be filled with love, joy, and the appreciation of all those whose lives you have impacted. Happy 90th Birthday and congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

Congratulations to all of the couples I had the honor of marrying during the month of May! Thank you for allowing me to be part of such an important day in your lives and for trusting me to officiate your wedding ceremony.
Every couple has a unique story, and it is truly a privilege to witness the love, excitement, and commitment that each of you share. Whether you traveled from near or far, I am grateful that you chose Clarkstown Town Hall to begin this new chapter together.
Wishing all of our May newlyweds a lifetime filled with love, happiness, laughter, and countless wonderful memories. May your journey together be blessed with many years of joy.
Congratulations and best wishes to each and every one of you!

Last Thursday, we were so excited to welcome the second grade Kelso Leaders from the Nanuet School District to Town Hall for a field trip.
The students had the opportunity to tour Town Hall and the Police Department, learn more about local government and public safety, and ask so many thoughtful questions about how our town operates each day. I truly enjoyed speaking with the students about my role as Town Clerk, officiating weddings, and the importance of community service.
One of the most memorable parts of the visit was when the students got to witness a live wedding ceremony taking place at Town Hall. The bride, who is a teacher herself, was incredibly kind and took a moment to welcome and interact with the children, making the experience even more special for everyone there.

Honored to attend the Nanuet Memorial Day Ceremony as we remembered and paid tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.
May God bless our courageous service members for their selfless devotion and sacrifice on this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
Thank you to everyone who organized this meaningful ceremony and to all who came together to honor our fallen heroes. It was truly an honor to attend.

Continuing the Memorial Day weekend events, I was honored to attend and march in the Congers VMA Memorial Day Parade today alongside so many incredible members of our community.
As I have said before Memorial Day is more than just a holiday weekend it’s a time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.
Thank you to the Congers VMA, all of the organizers, veterans, first responders, community groups, and residents who came out to support this meaningful tradition. The rain didn’t stop us and it was wonderful to see our community come together in remembrance and patriotism. God bless our fallen heroes, our veterans, and the United States of America.

Kicking off Memorial Day weekend events yesterday morning at the Town of Clarkstown Memorial Day Ceremony at the Street Community Center:
As always it was a privilege to join our community in paying tribute to the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.
Memorial Day weekend is a sacred time to reflect, remember, and honor those heroes who gave everything for our nation, not just a day off and a bbq in the backyard.
Thank you to all of the veterans, military families, staff, and residents who came together to celebrate our fallen heroes.
A special thank you as well to Supervisor George Hoehmann , the Town Board, and the Superintendent of Parks and Rec, for organizing this meaningful ceremony and for continuing to ensure we never forget those who served and sacrificed for our country.
