Throughout the Old Testament, we see how in the midst of turmoil, God breaks in with HOPE as He gave a prophetic promise of a Messiah who will come and reconcile us back to God.

Join us as we prepare our hearts for Christmas through a time of Scripture reading, reflection and a focused devotion on the coming of Christ!

Join us this Thursday, 9/10 at 7pm for our Prophetic Encounter Night as we get equipped and activated to interpret prophetic dreams!

Have you ever wondered what God is trying to communicate to you through prophetic dreams? What could God be saying when there is an airplane or a car in my dream? How do I even know if it’s a dream that’s from God or from the bad food I ate last night?

Dreams can unlock powerful messages that reveal the heart and mind of God. So join us as we hear a short teaching followed by a time of workshopping together as we interpret prophetic dreams.

Join us at 7pm this Thursday, August 20th for our Prophetic Encounter Night! As a church, we desire to grow in the gift of prophecy as a way to love and bless the people around us - in our faith communities, neighborhoods, apartment buildings, workplaces...etc.

We will have a short teaching and then do a fun exercise that can help activate you in the gift of prophecy. Whether you are new or familiar to the prophetic, there is always room to practice and grow.

Click here - https://youtu.be/CT-6Qe_KnFU to listen to Kara Kim’s teaching on “The Power of Lament.” What is lament? Why do we need to lament? And how do we do it? How can the American church also learn how to lament by looking to other cultures?

During this season that is marked with tremendous loss, may the Church lead the way in practicing both praise and lament as a way to reflect the fullness of the good news!

THE POWER OF LAMENT

What does Scripture teach us about the practice of lament and how can it form us into the image of Christ? During this season of tremendous loss, pain and suffering, the church must lead the way in practicing this lost discipline of lament.

Join us this Thursday, 7/23 at 7pm as Kara Kim gives a teaching on “The Power of Lament.” All are welcome! Zoom link coming on Thursday.

In this talk, John Kim uses the example of Rayshard Brooks and distills why the Left and Right viewed the same facts so differently and unpacks how the way of the Kingdom is so fundamentally different from the way of the world.

As we experience several crises simultaneously as a nation, the fractious and polarized nature of our public discourse is once again on full display. While it is disheartening to see, we also believe this is a unique opportunity for the people of God to demonstrate Kingdom values that mark us as a distinct and peculiar people.

How can we follow the way of Jesus in the midst of such polarizing voices in our current time? Join us this Thursday, July 2nd at 7pm as John Kim gives a talk entitled: The Great Opportunity. All are welcome!

Despite how overwhelming it is to realize the brokenness of the American economy and how it has enabled systemic racism, we have hope because God remains seated on His throne! As we ponder what steps of action to take for the long haul, may we remain waiting on the Lord and first allowing our hearts to break with the things that break His heart.
