Great job Rep. Nate Davidson

Big news from the Capitol! Yesterday, two of my bills passed out of committee with unanimous, bipartisan support!

When we cut through the noise, we can partner with our communities to make government work better, smarter, and faster for everyday Pennsylvanians. Here is a quick look at the common-sense legislation we moved forward:

🪙 HB 2388 (Rounding to the Nearest Nickel): This bill eliminates unnecessary paperwork by implementing standard rounding rules for cash payments, streamlining transactions, and saving time for everyone. This bill was written after this problem was brought to my attention by the Cumberland County Treasurer, Katy Isley.

🌉 HB 2437 (Lifting Restrictions on Bridge Repair Funds): Local leaders know their infrastructure needs best. This bill cuts red tape by lifting rigid restrictions on how counties and municipalities can use funds already allotted to them for local bridge repairs, empowering them to fix critical infrastructure on their own timelines.

True progress happens when we empower local voices and work as partners to solve real-world problems. Thank you to my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for their unanimous support—now, onto the House floor!

Mark your calendars…June 27 community celebration

Our All of US 250 event is POSTPONED due to rain.

As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we're choosing to celebrate something bigger than politicians, parties, or manufactured divisions: the people who make our communities stronger every day.
ALL OF US 250 is a community organizing event designed to bring together the people, organizations, and movements working to build a more connected, compassionate, and equitable Central Pennsylvania. Through mutual aid, education, advocacy, and direct community support, we are creating the relationships and networks that help our neighbors thrive.

Join us at Soldier's Grove in Harrisburg for a time of:
-Community organizations and mutual aid groups
-Educational workshops and skill-sharing sessions
-Speakers and community leaders
-Volunteer and civic engagement opportunities
-Opportunities to connect with neighbors and local changemakers
At a time when many seek to divide us, we are choosing to come together. This event is about recognizing that strong communities are built through relationships, cooperation, and a shared commitment to one another.
Inspired by the national All of US 250 movement, we believe America's story belongs to all of us—not just a select few. Our history includes triumphs and struggles, progress and setbacks, and the ongoing work of expanding freedom, opportunity, and justice for everyone. By building stronger local connections today, we help create the future we want to see tomorrow.
Whether you're already involved in community work or simply looking for ways to get connected, there is a place for you here.
Because the future of Central Pennsylvania—and America—is built by all of us.
This event is family-friendly and open to everyone who believes in building stronger communities through connection, service, and collective action.
