On Tuesday, October 27th from 10:30-11:30 AM, kids ages 2-5 are invited to build forts all around our program room! Be sure to bring a blanket and a book, or get to the library a little early and pick one out from our collection. Small flashlights will be provided, or you may bring your own. No registration required!

Join the Friends of the New Cumberland Public Library this evening at 6:30pm in the Foundation House for Meet the Candidates Night!

The Friends of New Cumberland Public Library invite residents to Foundation House (across the shared parking lot from the Library) for a chance to learn about and question the candidates running for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Each candidate will be given time to speak about themselves, what motivates them to run for office, and what issues they feel are important to our community.

On Tuesday, October 20th from 10:30-11:15 AM, kids ages 3-5 are invited to come enjoy a story about pumpkins and a STEAM activity designed to ignite the imaginations and curiosity of preschool aged kids! On Monday, October 19th from 4:30-5:30 PM, kids ages 3 and up are invited to come to the Library and explore architecture, engineering, design and more! We will have our large collection of LEGOs, Magna-Tiles, wooden blocks and other building materials available for free play, as well as some targeted challenges for builders who enjoy having instructions to follow.
