We are having a fundraiser for our New Hampton police department. Specifically for the K-9 unit, my pal, Ozkar.

Join us Sunday, September 27th from 7:30-12:30 WITH A SPECIAL meet and greet from our hero, k-9 officer Ozkar himself at 11:30-12:30!

Bring the family to support two local departments, meet Ozkar, and spend some time meeting some officers.

We even have officer Kassidi Havens bartending with me.

**Police Officer Opening**

The New Hampton Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time police officer.

Interested persons should go to www.newhamptonia.com to download an application packet under employment opportunities.
Please complete the application packet, along with a cover letter and resume, and mail to: Chief Conrad Rosendahl c/o New Hampton Police Department; 22 South Locust Ave. New Hampton, IA 50659. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Applicants will be notified later regarding further testing. Applicants currently ILEA certified and employed by a Law Enforcement Agency are allowed to lateral transfer. Applicants without certification are required to pass the P.O.S.T. and physical agility testing. Final applicants will be required to take a psychological test and pass a background investigation.
