The voting is still going for Police Lights of Christmas, but we have a few more photos to share that didn’t make it into the contest!

Officer Roehrborn and Officer Voecks were having a little fun in the pool with the kids, and these photos are a perfect reminder that our officers are kids at heart, too! We may wear the uniform, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun along the way. These two definitely understood the assignment!

Thanks for continuing to support our Police Lights of Christmas fundraiser! Every dollar counts and helps us give back to those in our community who need it.

You can still vote here:

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Kiwanis Park on Saturday for the annual Trunk or Treat! We had a great time seeing all the creative costumes, handing out candy, and of course, letting the officers get in on the fun with some bubbles! The officers may have taken their candy-distributing duties seriously, but the bubble-blowing skills are still up for debate.

We also couldn’t help but notice there seemed to be more little police officers running around than firefighters! We’re not saying it was a competition, but we’re pretty sure the New Holstein Police Department won the popularity contest this year. Sorry, Fire Department!

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it another great community event. We appreciate you all and can’t wait to do it again next year!

Our SROs were back in the classroom this week!

SRO Carter joined the health classe to talk with students about drug use, the risks and consequences, and the importance of making good choices.

SRO Madison spent time with the CSI class, giving students a look at some of the equipment officers use in their work and sharing a little insight into what goes on behind the scenes of a police investigation.

We love having the opportunity to connect with our students outside of the usual SRO role. These classroom visits are a great way to build relationships, answer questions, and give students a better understanding of the work we do in our community.

HUSKY PRIDE: FULL SPEED AHEAD!

It is Homecoming for our New Holstein Huskies tonight, and what better way to kick off the celebration than with a parade?!

Our officers were happy to help keep things moving along—although we have to admit, there was a suspicious amount of school spirit out there this afternoon!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, watched from the sidelines, waved at our officers, and helped make the parade such a fun community tradition. And thank you to all the drivers who patiently navigated the parade route—your cooperation helped keep everyone safe!

We hope everyone has a fantastic Homecoming weekend!

From all of us at the New Holstein Police Department…

GO HUSKIES! 🐾🏈❤️🤍

P.S. We may have issued a few citations today…for excessive Husky pride. 😉🐾
