UPDATE: The mega sign (the size is against New Hope ordinances) went back up. Between the developers and politicians, New Hope is getting the middle finger.

Here are some pretty trees in New Hope today…to calm everyone down from the oversized-against the ordinance-repeat offender Fitz sign-gate debate this morning.

A few weeks ago the same candidate put up a very large sign like this in the Borough and like every other time he has done it he was told to remove it as New Hope Borough has a sign ordinance that forbids sign ms of this mega size. Here we are again with this candidate putting up one of his mega signs in the Borough.

Since this post was posted the sign came down….and went back up again.

* New Hope has a sign ordinance that does not allow signs that are this large - even on private property.

Let’s tear down our charming cottages PART 2.

Geez…the realtor is blatantly saying “tear down this quaint cottage surrounded by mature lush trees to build a…you guessed it…modern glass/stone/wood house on N Main St.”

Oh the $1.5M does not include a new house…nor has any of this been discussed with the Borough…but…why sell a sweet cottage from the 1940’s if you can talk them into tearing it down and going BIG and MODERN with no pesky trees or green surface.

The new Comprehensive Plan does not include extending the historic district to the north end of Main St, but don’t you think it should???

BTW the real estate listing is so obnoxious that it does not list any info or photos about the current house.
