Meet Firefighter Everette McIntosh. A Livonia native, Everette moved to Brighton after being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 2019. McIntosh attended the Brighton Area Fire Academy in 2024 and served as a paid-on-call firefighter with Brighton Area Fire Authority until being hired by Lyon Township Fire. Everette is a devoted husband and father to Grace and their boys, Marcus and Titus. Mr. McIntosh enjoys woodworking and brewing his own mead in his free time. He also participates in Highland games, representing the USMC.

During that event a Lyon Township firefighter, Thomas Phelps, a Milford firefighter, and a Highland firefighter lost their lives.
