❤️ BUILDING A COMMUNITY READY TO RESPOND ❤️
This morning, members of the New Johnsonville Fire Department had the opportunity to teach CPR and lifesaving skills to members of our community.
When cardiac arrest occurs, the first few minutes are critical. Often, the person who can make the biggest difference isn’t a firefighter, EMT, or paramedic. It’s a family member, coworker, friend, or bystander who knows what to do until emergency responders arrive.
We want to extend a special thank you to everyone who participated in this morning’s class. Taking time out of your Saturday to learn CPR demonstrates a commitment not only to your own preparedness, but also to the safety and well-being of your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. We appreciate your willingness to learn and your investment in making our community safer.
Teaching CPR is about more than completing a class. It’s about putting lifesaving knowledge directly into the hands of the people we serve. Every person trained in CPR makes our community stronger and better prepared when an emergency happens.
NJFD is proud to provide opportunities like this and even more proud to see members of our community willing to step up, learn, and be prepared to help someone when seconds matter.
Learn CPR. Be prepared. Save a life.
