DEA National Prescription Drug Takeback Day - October 24th

The Perry County Sheriff's Office invites all residents to participate in our upcoming Drug Drop-Off Day.

It's a safe and easy way to dispose of your unused or expired medications.

Date: October 24th, 2026
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Location: The Perry County Sheriff's Office, located at 121 West Brown Street, New Lexington, Ohio

We accept: Vitamins, Prescription Medication, Prescription Ointments, Pet Medication, Over-the-counter Medication.

We will not accept: Needles, Inhalers, Thermometers, Aerosol Cans, Lotions or Liquids, Hydrogen Peroxide.

This initiative helps keep our community safe. Disposal is anonymous, with no questions asked.

Runaway Juvenile

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of 16 year old Eric Rosinski Jr.

Eric was reported as a runaway juvenile to our office on September 21, 2026.

Eric was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts. He is approximately 5’10” tall, 156 lbs, blonde hair and hazel eyes.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit will be hosting a K9 Demo Fundraiser on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Thorn Township Fire Department in Thornville.

Come out to see our K9s in action and help support our K9 Unit. Donations will help provide canine training equipment, continuing education, and safety items for our K9s.
