I was thrilled to attend the Meyer Shank Racing open house in Pataskala to see this year’s Indianapolis 500-winning car! 🏁🏆

Although we were outside of Perry County, several Perry County residents work at Meyer Shank and played an important role in helping to secure this incredible win. It’s always great to see our local community members making an impact. Congratulations to everyone who played a part!

My son and I spent a beautiful fall day at the Thornville Country Fair this past Sunday!
We found the Boyer Farm Pumpkins booth and had to get a picture. No relation to these Boyers, but they sure know how to grow some great pumpkins! 😂🎃

I wanted to share this great nonpartisan resource that helps Ohio voters learn more about the judicial candidates and their qualifications/experience they hold.

I was pleased to participate in this and help voters make informed decisions when voting this November.

Visit judicialvotescount.org and select your county to see all the participating candidates names highlighted in blue. You can then click on their names to review their profiles and learn more about their experience and qualifications! 🗳️

Judicial elections are different from executive and legislative races, and that makes it necessary to take a different approach when we evaluate judicial candidates.

I was grateful to take part in two more tree plantings, this time in Roseville to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation. Two white oak trees were planted at Bluffdale Park and Melick’s Grove. These trees will serve as a beautiful reminder of this important milestone for our nation! 🌱❤️

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for this America 250 Perry County Heritage Tree Dedication!

A lot of work and care went into selecting the perfect location for this tree, including soil testing and a consultation with an arborist. All 88 Ohio counties received a tree to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, and everyone in attendance had the opportunity to take part in planting it by adding a little dirt.

It was wonderful to be part of this special moment celebrating our nation’s history!
