Civil War at Fort Trumbull - Fights for the Fort was a remarkable success. Thank you to all reenactors who participated and for the incredible hosts at Fort Trumbull State Park, and to the Friends of Fort Trumbull State Park, for their wonderful support. This event was an absolute dream come true for so many living historians, and spectators.

Civil War at Fort Trumbull - Fights for the Forts A two-day Battle and Living History Civil War Reenactment Event, taking place on the grounds of an actual Civil War era Stone Fort.

Our ONE HUNDREDTH Registration for the event arrived just two days ago, sent in by one of the 8th Connecticut honored veterans, Keith Brown. Since then, we have already reached 116 Registrations and look forward to the number continuing to grow!

With the event two weeks out, please be sure to register promptly and secure your place in the firing line, for an incredible event, complete with two days of planned battle scenarios at a real Civil War Stone Bastion, Fort Trumbull. The event will include visits from the foremost Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass Portrayers in the country, sloshed two days of period music from the Susquehanna Travellers!
