Haunted Happenings on Main Street was incredible this past Sunday. These are just a few snapshots of the sunny and spooktacular fun that was had by all.

This was a community effort, and it showed. A HUGE thanks to the Town of New London Fire Department, Police Department, Department of Public Works, and Community Volunteers who made sure everything was safe and well-organized. All the residents, businesses, and other groups that handed out candy, the famous Dancing Witches, the Odd Fellows for delicious hot dogs, the Center for the Arts for hosting kids Halloween crafts in Whipple, everyone who donated to the candy drive, all the local businesses and other groups that offered parking, and especially the trick-or-treaters of all ages that came out to celebrate the Halloween season with so much positive energy and community spirit. We can't wait for next year. Mark your calendars now, Sunday 10/31/27 🎃

This time tomorrow Haunted Happenings will be underway. We can't wait.

🎃 Join us on Main Street Sunday, 10/25, 4-6 PM for costumes, candy, and spooky fun for all ages.
👻 FREE photo booth and balloon creations at Whipple Hall (25 Seamans Rd.)
🌭 Hot dogs from the Odd Fellows on the Green.
🎃The Dancing Witches are back performing at the Municipal Lot at 4:30 and 5 PM.
🚚 Wicked Tasty Food Truck at Main & Pleasant (Municipal Lot).
🍬 Candy and festive spirit galore from all the generous businesses, residents, and groups along the trick-or-treat route.

We had so many terrifyingly terrific entries in our first-ever Howlaween Pet Costume Photo Contest, it was hard to pick. A big thanks to everyone who participated and also to Unleashed New London for donating gift cards to the winners.

Thanks to everyone who submitted and joined the fun sharing lots of Halloween spirit. As well as the pets who patiently induldged their owners 🎃
