Covenant Shelter of New London is a 35-bed emergency residential shelter which serves up to 14 single men and families with children. Covenant provides meals and case management services to assist individuals and families acquire safe, stable housing.

Our Story
Covenant Shelter of New London was founded in 1983 by St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church and St. James Episcopal Church. Our mission is to meet the emergency needs of men, women and children affected by homelessness. We do this by providing safe, clean shelter, meals and case management housing services.
In addition to shelter, Covenant aims to provide its guests with assistance in securing stable housing . Our case management team works with guests daily to develop an action plan for obtaining housing, and income.
