The goal of the CG Academy MWR is to offer a well-rounded recreation program and leisure activities. Coast Guard Academy and at local commands.

The Morale, Well Being and Recreation (MWR) Office provides a well-rounded recreational program primarily to active duty personnel stationed at the U.S. Whenever possible, MWR programs, events and discounts will be made available to military retirees and Academy civilian faculty and staff. Join us for a celebration of classic military band music under the baton of Captain Adam Williamson.

Each summer, the Coast Guard Band performs throughout Connecticut, bringing free and festive
outdoor concerts to communities all over the state.

This program features wind band hits, virtuosic solo features, rousing marches, and patriotic classics in a program that is sure to bring the audience to its feet!
