🎓As the school year winds down, and graduation day approaches, Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut acknowledges the student contributions to construction.

🪈HVAC students from Grasso Technical High School in Groton, and H. H. Ellis Technical High School in Danielson have gained real world experience by installing plumbing systems in some Habitat homes.

💡Norwich Technical High School electrical, biotech, and carpentry students spent a day of service at a Norwich build. They LOVED checking out the basement circuit breaker.

We're picturing it painted in a deep navy blue with flexible tambour panels on the drawer fronts and gold pulls... but that's just us.😉 The bones on this piece are beautiful with clean lines, solid construction, and plenty of drawer space. All it needs is someone with a vision.✨

Our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament is coming up on Monday, September 28th at Mohegan Sun Golf Club and it's going to be a great one! Think Oktoberfest food, raffles, games, and a full day on the course knowing every dollar goes toward building affordable housing in Eastern Connecticut.

🔨 May has been an incredible month for community and corporate builds with Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut.

Norwich Public Utilities employees volunteered over a total of five building days, Pfizer joined the job site for two days of drywall, and Colchester Federated Church helped to round out a very busy week.

These dedicated volunteers join a growing list of organizations who have chosen to support affordable homeownership through service.
