A wonderful evening last night with the L+M Hospital Auxiliary in the City of New London, Connecticut! 🏥

Their mission to improve the health and well-being of our community has been in action for more than a century. Since 1914, the Auxiliary has contributed generously through volunteer service and impactful investments, including major support for emergency care, neonatal, cancer, and trauma services, as well as advocacy for nursing education through the Joseph Lawrence School of Nursing Alumni Association Nursing Museum. 🩺

It was also a pleasure to connect with Dr. Oliver Mayorga, Interim President, and Dr. Kevin Torres, Chief Medical Officer, whose leadership continues to guide L+M’s commitment to exceptional care across our region.

Guided by values of compassion, integrity, and respect, their work continues to strengthen care for patients and families across southeastern Connecticut. 💫

Special thanks to President Kristy Tupper and the L+M Food Services team for the warm welcome—and don’t miss the Yale New Haven Health “White Caps and Capes” exhibit on display at the New London Community Recreation Center through July 13, honoring the many generations of people behind uniforms and instruments. 💙🤍

From sunny skies with just a hint of clouds 🌥️ on a top-notch course that's well maintained year-round, the event brought together our region’s leaders, businesses, and community champions for an unforgettable day of connection, competition, and impact. 🤝
