🍂🦌🦆 WIDE OPEN & LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT! 🦫🌲

If you’ve been wondering where the Johanson crew has been lately… well, we’ve been just about everywhere BUT sitting still!

Between Johanson Nuisance Control keeping us incredibly busy and hunting season being in full swing, life has been one heck of an adventure!

Chase harvested his FIRST EVER ELK! A memory that will last a lifetime!

🦆 Brex shot his FIRST EVER DUCKS! Watching him grow into a little outdoorsman has been one of the greatest parts of it all!

🎤 And then there’s Hux… who may not have the biggest hunting stories just yet, but he’s making darn sure there’s NEVER a quiet moment! That boy could talk the ears off a mounted deer, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

🍁 Between duck hunting, deer hunting, elk hunting, and running traplines, we’ve been going full throttle from sunup to sundown!

And somewhere in between all that, we’ve been keeping up with nuisance control calls, raising two wild little boys, and making memories as a family. ❤️

It’s busy. It’s muddy. It’s exhausting. And we wouldn’t trade it for the world.

We are so incredibly thankful for everyone who continues to trust and support Johanson Nuisance Control. What started with a love for the outdoors has turned into something our whole family gets to be part of.

Here’s to full traplines, early mornings, first harvests, muddy boots, and raising the next generation to love the outdoors just as much as we do! 🌲

Happy Father’s Day to an incredible dad!

We are so thankful for everything you do for our family. Whether you’re out trapping, hunting, coaching, or simply spending time with the boys, you are always teaching them valuable life lessons through your actions. Your hard work and dedication are shaping them into amazing young men.

One of the greatest gifts you give our boys is your presence. You’re always there to teach, encourage, support, and make memories with them. Watching them learn from you and look up to you is something truly special.

One day simply isn’t enough to celebrate all that you do and the impact you have on our family every single day. We are beyond grateful for you and all the love, guidance, and adventures you bring into our lives.

From all of us at Johanson Nuisance Control, we also want to wish all the hardworking dads out there a very Happy Father’s Day! Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the lessons you teach, and the love you give your families each and every day.

We’ve had a busy and amazing spring!

Between trapping and helping customers, we’ve also been making lots of family memories. We spent many weekends traveling for Brex’s baseball games, cheered Chase on as he ran his first marathon (with Brex running the last mile with him!), celebrated a beautiful family wedding, and helped Hux learn to ride his bike without training wheels after getting his tonsils out.

We also had our first snake trapping job, and Brex was a huge help. To top it off, Chase and Brex doubled up on turkeys one morning together!

We’re thankful for all of our customers and for the opportunity to spend so much time together as a family doing what we love.

🚨 Muskrat Damage Is More Than Just a Pond Problem 🚨

These photos show what muskrats can do when they’re allowed to tunnel unchecked. Their burrows create underground voids that can cause roads, driveways, shorelines, culverts, and landscaping to collapse.

What starts as a small hole along the water’s edge can quickly turn into:
✔ Sinkholes
✔ Cracked pavement
✔ Washed-out shorelines
✔ Damaged driveways and roads
✔ Costly repairs

If you have a pond, lake frontage, ditch, or culvert and are noticing holes, soft spots, or shoreline erosion, muskrats may be the cause.

🦝 We’ve been busy the last couple of weeks with raccoon calls! Distemper is making its way through the local raccoon population, and we’re seeing an increase in sick and nuisance raccoons around homes, farms, and properties.

We’ve got to give a huge thank you to ZTraps for letting us run their traps this season.

To say they’ve been a game changer would be an understatement.

These traps have completely leveled up how we operate, more efficient sets, better results, and less time guessing. When you’re out in the field every day, that kind of reliability matters more than anything.
