Today, the New Market Volunteer Fire and Rescue Team was honored to receive a $10,460.00 grant through the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office to strengthen our fire department.
This funding will allow us to purchase firefighter equipment to fully equip our fire department, as well as acquire updated equipment. These resources will improve our ability to respond safely and effectively to emergencies, and incidents throughout the covering area for New Market.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office, the State of Tennessee, and our local elected officials for their continued support of volunteer emergency services.
Congratulations to all of the East Tennessee Counties fire and rescue agencies that received grant funding today. Together, these investments strengthen emergency response capabilities across our entire coverage area.
