Congratulations to Sergeant Phillips with Aviation Logistics Department, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, who reenlisted on 17 September 2026. CWO5 Lamkin served as the reenlisting officer during the ceremony, which was conducted in front of the Marines of Corporals Course 4-26.

Reenlistment ceremonies are more than a formal event. They represent a Marine’s continued commitment to the Corps and to their fellow Marines. Holding this ceremony in front of the Corporals Course students provided a powerful example of dedication and leadership, reinforcing the importance of long-term service and setting a strong standard for the next generation of NCOs.

4th Marine Aircraft Wing hosted the MMEA Roadshow on 15 September, bringing the Special Duty Assignment and Primary MOS Monitors with MMEA together with our Marines aboard NAS JRB Belle Chasse.

HMLA-773 provided outstanding coordination and support throughout the visit, helping create a successful event. Marines took full advantage of the opportunity to learn about Special Duty Assignments and meet face-to-face with their monitors to discuss career options and future opportunities.

Events like this play an important role in supporting our Marines’ professional development and long-term retention. We appreciate the strong engagement and look forward to continued support for these valuable engagements.

ATTENTION TO ORDERS!!!

On August 22, 1942, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing was born as a forward aviation element in support of ground forces during World War II.

Since that time and into the present, Marines and Marine Aviators have responded to the call to service as an indelible buttress to the Active Component. Marines like 1stLt Jefferson DeBlanc represent an 84 YEAR lineage of 4th MAW Marines who step up, stand at the ready, and assume the watch to ensure America continues to thrive and prosper.

On this birthday, 4th MAW stands taller at the memory of those Marines that have gone before us, and look forward to carrying the fighting spirit into the next 84 and beyond!

"The biggest detriment to mission accomplishment is not from the competition, but from within. Having the right mindset and skills is what results in getting results." - General Mattis

Marines from VMM-774 take part in exercise Northern Strike that challenged their readiness, sharpened their skills and ensured they had the proper mindset to get the job done and get home safely. Great job MAG-49 and 774!
