Safety doesn't take a day off! While we highlight National Walk to School Day, the Pasco Sheriff's Office reminds citizens that staying safe on the way to and from school is a year-round commitment.

Whether it's today or any day of the week, please keep these rules in mind:
Be Visible: Wear bright colors or reflective gear so drivers can easily spot you in busy areas.
Cross Safely: Always cross at designated crosswalks.
Wait for the Signal: Never cross until the School Crossing Guard or traffic signal gives you the clear sign to proceed.

By joining forces, we can ensure a safe walk to school.
