Village Zoning:

Village residents, through elected officials, decide how property in the Village is developed.

If the Village is dissolved, the Town, not the residents of the Village, will most likely control how property in the Village is used and developed.

The Town Board could adopt zoning and land use regulations, not the people who live in the Village.
