On September 23, 2024, Tuvalu and the Republic of Serbia signed an agreement to abolish visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and official passports. The signing took place at the Permanent Mission of Serbia to the United Nations between H.E. Paulson Panapa, Tuvalu's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labour and Trade, and H.E. Marko Djuric, the Foreign Minister of Serbia.
