Be the first to live in this massive 3 bedroom apartment in Flatbush!
Every detail of this renovation was crafted to enhance functionality and design. The living room features brand new floors throughout and fits any size furniture plus a formal dining area or a home office. There is a separate gourmet kitchen with a dishwasher and full size stainless steel appliances (kitchen is being renovated and the picture is only for illustration).

All queen size-fitting bedrooms come with abundant storage space and expansive windows, flooding the unit with amazing sunlight throughout the day. The modern bathroom features a deep soaking spa-like tub and custom marble tiles. There is a washer and dryer in this unit and plenty of additinal storage.

The building is conveniently located in a prime Flatbush location, close to great shops, stores, bars, and restaurants. 1 minute away from 2/5 train at Church Avenue and the B44 bus at Nostrand/Snyder Avenue.

New York is amazing. Here, on the spot, you can see the buildings of 4 generations of architecture
- Grand Central terminal a landmark building that was build in 1910s. The masterpiece of Beaux-Art architecture. Did you know the building was saved from demolishing by Jackie Kennedy?
- The Chanin Building is another New York’s landmark. Was build in roaring 20s. One of my favorite buildings. Walking by, just take a look at the details ❤️
- 100 Park Avenue was built in 1940s and was one of the first of a handful new office towers to rice on Park Avenue south of Grand Central.
- The MetLife building was built in 60s above Grand Central Terminal. To be able to do this, developers bought the air rights from Grand Central Terminal. The building remains in the 100 the tallest buildings in the US.
-
What architectural style is your favourite?

Famous “Canyon Effect”

Check out this impressive urban canyon formed by two lines of buildings on 6th Avenue.
If you've ever walked down John or Pine streets downtown, you might have noticed how narrow they are.

In the early 20th century, people began to see this as a problem.
The 1916 Zoning Resolution was adopted so that massive buildings would not prevent light and air from reaching the streets below.

To do this, was decided to use so-called setbacks (step-like form of buildings) in planing of the city.
Many Art Deco Skyscrapers of the 1920s and 1930s are a direct result of this resolution.

I remember how impressed I was when I saw such "corridor" in Manhattan for the first time.

Municipal building

This building is one of the icons of New York City.
It was built to accommodate increased governmental space demands after the 1898 consolidation of the city's five boroughs. Construction began in 1909 and continued through 1914.

It’s been built in Beaux-Arts architectural style and was the last one that has been built as part of the City Beautiful Movement. The Municipal Building is one of the largest governmental buildings in the world
In 1966 the building was designated a landmark.

Interesting fact, the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin was so impressed with this building that he ordered similar buildings to be built in Moscow. Architects erected 7 buildings, reminiscent of the Municipal Building (3rd and 4th photos).
Architects were forbidden to draw inspiration from western culture
and they came up with a new style of Soviet Art Deco or Stalinist Empire style (yes, it exists).
