When I see my wife Anna in uniform, I see the shattering of long-accepted glass ceilings. I'm encouraged and see a pathway for more women to push through the rankings and achieve what wasn't attainable due to discriminatory barriers. I am inspired by her determination and hard work to lead with excellence and serve as a role model for young women.
I look forward to the day that little girls fueled with hopes and dreams will never know the existence of glass ceilings because we have worked hard and done our jobs to shatter them. I share my wife's determination and will continue to join women in bringing these attainable goals to fruition.
