📚🧸🇺🇸 Theodore Roosevelt Day at P.S. 70Q! Our 4th Grade scholars participated in an engaging and interactive Theodore Roosevelt Day presented by the Theodore Roosevelt Association. Students learned about Roosevelt's remarkable journey from a sickly child to one of America's most influential leaders, exploring the values of perseverance, curiosity, leadership, and service. A special highlight was learning about the friendship between Theodore Roosevelt and Lt. Joseph Petrosino, connecting our scholars to the legacy of our school's namesake. Students also enjoyed stories about Roosevelt's adventurous spirit, his commitment to conservation, and his belief in daring to do great things. The presentation featured engaging visuals, a fun movie clip from Night at the Museum, thoughtful discussions, and special Theodore Roosevelt stickers for all participants.
