Happy 529 Day to our 4th Grade Lions! What does it look like to save for schooling, and how to we budget for the future…with the 🎁💸 has made possible for our students?! Today, we used an online game created by Mr. B to experiment with budgeting for needs versus wants and took a look at how compound interest can work in a favor. Check your child’s book bag for more information, or connect with our Parent Coordinator at arrival/dismissal for help signing up!

🌱🍓Countless thanks to and for cultivating sprouts of curiosity, joy, and pride in food justice for the Harlem community at large, and for our second graders right here at PS 96. Our Lions engaged in this beautiful reading and arts-based experience thanks to our incredible partners. Families, please stop by 127th and Lenox on Saturdays for FREE yoga, cooking demonstrations, and fresh produce. We look forward to many seasons of collaborative growth alongside the inspirational team at Harlem Grown!
