Queens D22 is our first race to be over. AND WE WON! Congrats to Tiffany and everybody who put blood, sweat, and tears into this campaign. THIS is the movement that puts working class New Yorkers first, and now it’s time to bring that power to City Hall.
In case you missed it- other districts’ results are going to be at results.socialists.nyc
The Board of Elections estimates July 12 will be when we start getting other races certified and some winners declared.

Did somebody say "people powered campaign" ? It's election day and we gotta shout out the volunteers who made it all happen for this election. You came through because you believed this could be a turning point for NYC - that with real socialists in office, we can help the working class get back on its feet. So thank you. It takes so many conversations with our neighbors to build a better future, and you did that.

Swipe for the timeline. BOE may not be declaring official results of the election anytime soon, but that doesn't mean that there isn't anything to celebrate. DSA knocked thousands of doors, and showed our strength in numbers. Ask anybody who took field shifts - the solidarity is real.
If you want to follow along as more results get tabulated, we'll be going live with a results website, so bookmark results.socialists.nyc and make that your homepage for the next few weeks.

Saturday is going to be a LONG day of canvassing but you know it's not a DSA day if it doesn't end with a comrade-ly social. RSVP to party with us after the last door is knocked. https://actionnetwork.org/events/heroes-hangout

Want to hear more about where NYC-DSA's electoral strategy is heading? RSVP for our June 1st meeting: https://nyc-dsa.link/strat
Imagine, it's July 20th and NYC-DSA's endorsed city council slate has once again defied expectations to sweep all six of their races. In just a few short months, these proud working-class champions will take their seats in a radically different city government in a terrain more hostile than ever to our socialist project. What will these socialists be able to do in office? What powers will they have at their disposal to utilize the powers of City Hall for the many instead of just the privileged few?
Join the Brooklyn Electoral Working Group on June 1st to have all your questions answered and more.
We'll hear from State Senator Jabari Brisport about their time in Albany and what their first legislative session can teach us about the path forward for our future City Council members. Hear from our endorsed candidates themselves about their plans to take power and how you can help them our dreams of a better city into a reality.
