The Roundtable’s 2025 Annual Report is here, and it tells a story of a sector under real pressure and a coalition that held together. When a federal shutdown disrupted SNAP benefits, just as need and food costs were already climbing, our members responded the way they always do: by working together.

This year, members of The Roundtable served 60 million meals and distributed 62.8 million pounds of food across 950 sites in all five boroughs, backed by $50 million in collective purchasing power. Read the full story of how collaboration showed up in 2025: https://theroundtablenyc.org/reports

For Rachel, running the NYC Marathon has always been a dream. This year, she’s turning that dream into an opportunity to make a difference. After moving to New York City, Rachel began volunteering with New York Common Pantry and saw firsthand the impact of its work and the sense of community it creates.

We’re incredibly grateful to have Rachel run for New York Common Pantry! Help Rachel reach her fundraising goal and support the fight against hunger:

A little more income shouldn’t mean less food on the table.

The SNAP “benefits cliff” can leave families worse off when a small increase in earnings leads to a loss of critical food assistance. The loss of support means individuals and families will have less to cover groceries, housing, childcare, transportation, and other essentials. Stephen Grimaldi, our Executive Director, weighed in on this critical issue. "People want to work and increase their earnings, but they also have to look at what happens to their household's overall financial situation," he said.

At New York Common Pantry, we’re working to help bridge these gaps by providing nutritious food and supportive services to New Yorkers facing food insecurity. No one should have to choose between moving forward financially and putting food on the table.
