This charming townhouse at the intersection of West 10th and 7th Avenue is home to the restaurant Bobo. It was built in 1836 and still retains some of its original features. William T. Whittmore, a real estate investor, built this building along with four other properties in the West Village in the early 19th century. A few of his other buildings still remain including 237 West 4th Street which has not had any external alterations. Both buildings are landmarked as a part of the Greenwich Village Historic District on April 29th, 1969.
