Honest Aging: Memory - What's Normal, What's Not?
Thursday, April 28 @ 3:00pm
Rosanne M. Leipzig, MD, PhD is a geriatrician and the Gerald and May Ellen Ritter Professor and the Vice Chair for Education Emerita of the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She’s also the author of Honest Aging which will be published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2022. In Dr. Leipzig's forty years of practice, the number one question that she’s asked by patients, families, at parties, or when sitting next to someone on an airplane is “Is this memory problem normal for aging?” Is this the start of dementia? Can anything be done about this?" Join this presentation to learn the answer, and more!
