I am going to place this here, for all the Garifuna people that want to see the results and efforts made to count Garifuna people during Census 2020! Together with a team of folks dedicated to elevating the Garinagu/ Garifuna contribution to this nation. I happily took on the huge responsibility to manage this project and the team was amazing but, we had an old snake amongst us that tried to scape with the money that was allocated for the team. There were many challenges but, regardless of the obstacles of dealing with dishonest people (there is too many of you to list and you know who you are "Lebadura") between covid, ambushing meetings to get paid, bounced checks and incomplete pay, we did it! Congrats: Hablando Con Belili, Matias Mejias, Dr. Ovelio Lopez, Dr. Quizia, Lucy Sua, Dj Don Lito Laboriel, Budari Palacios, Frank & Budari Palacios, Yvis, Inez, Irina Tavera, Nanci Pascal, Faith in New York,Thank you for supporting the work and the community.
