We are a volunteer-based organization whose goal is not simply to elect Korean or Asian American candidates to office, but to mobilize the Korean American community to maximize our political influence in support of candidates and allies who share our agenda for equal access to affordable housing, health care and education, and increased funding for immigrant social services. Here are some of the specific ways in which we hope to make a difference:

Political Action

§ Endorse progressive candidates who are committed to improving the lives of ALL Asian Americans
§ Contribute to candidates who share our vision
§ Organize targeted political campaigns in favor of candidates we support
§ Mobilize registered voters through phone banking

Education

§ Educate Korean and Asian American community with candidate comparisons
§ Outline policy impacts on our community
§ Mail out informational candidate and policy updates
§ Create educational materials for voters and politicians alike
§ Bring the Get-Out-The-Vote message to NYC’s Korean and Asian community
§ Organize education roundtables for exchange of information and experiences

Community Service

§ Collaborate with other progressive groups and communities of color
§ Organize leadership forums to cultivate new progressive Korean American leaders
§ Participate in community service events
§ Host social events
