Our Tremont Youth & Family Center team recently provided helpful help™ for 60 local families while making space for renovations at 1946 Webster Avenue!

The team hosted a Warm Handoff Giveaway event to distribute the resources we had remaining onsite, including clothing, toys, and household items. Families also had the opportunity to meet trusted community providers who will continue to be points of connection while the Graham team is out in the community during the renovation—including The Bronx Health Link, The ROC Family Enrichment Center, and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s New Family Home Visits (NFHV) team. Here's to our next era of community support!

In partnership with Road Recovery, we hosted "Ready to Learn in Style: A Back-to-School Live DJ Fashion Show" at our Manhattanville Cornerstone Community Center!

Our elementary and middle school students had the opportunity to model new clothes gifted from fashion brands like ED HARDY, Vanilla Star Jeans, and more. Thank you for helping our students step into the school year feeling confident and ready to learn!

☠️ ED HARDY donated 300 pieces of apparel to dress 100 kids for a back-to-school DJ Fashion Show 'Ready to Learn in Style' at Graham Windham in Harlem.

For years, Road Recovery board member Mark Levy has supported our Trax Program youth through ongoing donations of his company's apparel Vanilla Star Jeans

We were honored to host a Local Elected Officials Community Breakfast at O.U.R. Place Family Enrichment Center! The breakfast provided a meaningful opportunity for elected officials to hear directly from Hunts Point/Longwood community members about what helpful help™ looks like, as folks connected in policy groups to discuss the community’s dreams and opportunities.

The event was co-hosted by NYS Assembly Member Emérita Torres, who attended along with Senator Luis R. Sepúlveda and NYC Council Member Justin Sanchez. We were also joined by staff from New York State Senator Jose M. Serrano's office and Councilmember Sanchez’s office, as well as Meetu Dhar from The City University of New York Citizenship Now. Thank you for supporting Graham and co-creating with our community members!

Helpful help™ without judgement.

Anne Williams-Isom shares her vision for a system where families can access the support they need without fear of being judged or punished for asking for help.

At the heart of this concept is a simple truth: “all children should be safe, and all families should be supported.”

When solutions get complicated, community shows up!

Our last episode of the podcast season one is out today! In the episode, our guest Anne Williams-Isom reflects on the role communities play in making sure people get the support they need, even when the systems around them aren’t working the way they should.

Because sometimes, the people closest to the challenge are the ones finding the most creative ways forward!
