Child Abuse Prevention Program

Established in 1986 CAPP's mission is to teach children to recognize, resist and report abuse. As of 8/14, CAPP is now part of NY Foundling.

The cornerstone of CAPP's work is our effective Child Safety Workshop that utilizes life-sized puppets to provide school children with safety information. The workshop gives children the skills they need to recognize and resist abuse. Over the past 26 years, we have reached 410,000 children. Each year over 10,000 children participate in the workshop.
