🇬🇪🇺🇳საქართველოს საგარეო საქმეთა მინისტრის პირველმა მოადგილემ, გიორგი ზურაბაშვილმა მონაწილეობა მიიღო გაეროს უშიშროების საბჭოს მაღალი დონის ღია დებატებში თემაზე: „ გაეროს წესდების მიზნებისა და პრინციპების დაცვა და გაერო-ზე ორიენტირებული საერთაშორისო სისტემის გაძლიერება“.

სიტყვით გამოსვლისას, მინისტრის პირველმა მოადგილემ ხაზი გაუსვა საქართველოს ერთგულებას გაეროს წესდების მიმართ. აღნიშნა სუვერენიტეტისა და ტერიტორიული მთლიანობის პრინციპის მნიშვნელობა და საერთაშორისო მშვიდობისა და უსაფრთხოების შენარჩუნებაში მულტილატერალიზმის გაძლიერების აუცილებლობა.

გიორგი ზურაბაშვილმა ვრცლად ისაუბრა უსაფრთხოების გამოწვევებზე, ყურადღება გაამახვილა რუსეთის მხრიდან საქართველოს ტერიტორიების ოკუპაციაზე და განსაკუთრებით გაუსვა ხაზი აფხაზეთისა და ცხინვალის რეგიონებში არსებულ მძიმე ჰუმანიტარულ ვითარებას. მინისტრის პირველმა მოადგილემ კიდევ ერთხელ დაადასტურა, რომ საქართველო რჩება კონფლიქტის მშვიდობიანი გზით მოგვარების ერთგული.

🇬🇪🇺🇳The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, George Zurabashvili, participated in the United Nations Security Council high-level open debate entitled: “Upholding the Purposes and Principles of the United Nations Charter and Strengthening the UN-Centered Multilateral System.”

In his address, the First Deputy Minister underscored Georgia’s steadfast commitment to the Charter of the United Nations, highlighting the importance of the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the necessity of strengthening multilateralism in maintaining international peace and security.

George Zurabashvili also spoke extensively about existing security challenges, drawing particular attention to Russia’s occupation of Georgian territories and underscoring the grave humanitarian situation in the Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. The First Deputy Minister reaffirmed that Georgia remains firmly committed to the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

გაეროსთან საქართველოს მუდმივი წარმომადგენლობის ორგანიზებით, ქ. ნიუ-იორკში, The Bohemian National Hall-ში გაიმართა საქართველოს დამოუკიდებლობის დღისადმი მიძღვნილი საზეიმო მიღება და ანსამბლი „შვიდკაცა“-ს კონცერტი.

საზეიმო საღამო მიეძღვნა საქართველოს დამოუკიდებლობის აღდგენის 35 წლისთავს და საქართველოში ქრისტიანობის სახელმწიფო რელიგიად გამოცხადების 1700 წლისთავს.

ღონისძიებას ესწრებოდნენ გაეროსთან აკრედიტებული ქვეყნების მუდმივი წარმომადგენლობების ხელმძღვანელები, დიპლომატიური კორპუსისა და გაეროს სამდივნოს მაღალი დონის წარმომადგენლები.

The Permanent Mission of Georgia to the United Nations, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, hosted a reception and gala concert at The Bohemian National Hall in New York City in celebration of the Independence Day of Georgia.

The ceremonial evening was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Georgia’s independence and the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion in Georgia.

The Independence Day event brought together Permanent Representatives of the UN member states and delegates of the permanent missions to the UN, as well as representatives of the UN Secretariat and UN agencies.

2026 წლის 5 მაისს, საქართველოს დელეგაციამ იუსტიციის სამინისტროს ხელმძღვანელობით, ქ. ნიუ-იორკში, გაერთიანებული ერების ორგანიზაციის ფარგლებში გამართული საერთაშორისო მიგრაციის მიმოხილვის მეორე ფორუმში (IMRF) მიიღო მონაწილეობა.

ფორუმის ფარგლებში, საგარეო საქმეთა მინისტრის მოადგილემ, ხათუნა თოთლაძემ სიტყვით მიმართა ინტერაქტიული მრავალმხრივი მრგვალი მაგიდის ფორმატის შეხვედრის მონაწილეებს.

ხათუნა თოთლაძემ ისაუბრა მიგრაციის სრული ციკლის განმავლობაში საკონსულო დაცვის, დახმარებისა და თანამშრომლობის გაზრდის მნიშვნელობაზე. ასევე, ხაზი გაუსვა მიგრანტებისა და დიასპორისათვის საკუთარი წარმომავლობის ქვეყნების მდგრადი განვითარების პროცესში სრული ჩართულობის ხელშეწყობას.

On 5 May 2026, the delegation of Georgia, led by the Ministry of Justice, participated in the Second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) held within the framework of the United Nations in New York.

During the Forum, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Khatuna Totladze, addressed the participants of the interactive multi-stakeholder roundtable meeting.

In her address, Khatuna Totladze focused on the importance of enhancing consular protection, assistance and cooperation throughout the entire migration cycle. She also underscored the need to facilitate the full engagement of migrants and diaspora communities in the sustainable development processes of their countries of origin.

საქართველოს მუდმივი წარმომადგენელი დავით ბაქრაძე სიტყვით გამოვიდა გენერალური ასამბლეის არაფორმალურ შეხვედრაზე UN80 ინიციატივის შესახებ. მუდმივი წარმომადგენელი მიესალმა ინიციატივის სამ ძირითად სამუშაო მიმართულებაზე მიღწეულ პროგრესს და აღნიშნა, რომ რეფორმა გაეროს ანგარიშვალდებულებისა და გამჭვირვალობის გაზრდას დაეხმარება.

მუდმივმა წარმომადგენელმა ხაზი გაუსვა "მანდატების შექმნის, განხორციელებისა და გადახედვის შესახებ" რეზოლუციის მიღების მნიშვნელობას და აღნიშნა, რომ რეზოლუციების პერიოდულობასთან დაკავშირებით თითოეულის კონტექსტი კარგად უნდა იქნას გაანალიზებული.

მუდმივმა წარმომადგენელმა გამოხატა მხარდაჭერა გაეროს პროგრამული საქმიანობის ოპტიმიზაციის მიმართულებით და აღნიშნა გაეროს ფონდებსა და სააგენტოებს შორის დუბლირების აღმოფხვრის მნიშვნელობა. ამ მიმართულებით, ხაზი გაესვა ციფრული ტრანსფორმაციის და თანამედროვე მართვის ინსტრუმენტების პრიორიტეტად განხილვას.

დავით ბაქრაძე ასევე მიესალმა გაეროს რეზიდენტ-კოორდინატორებისა და ჰუმანიტარული კოორდინატორების სისტემის გაძლიერების მიზნით დაგეგმილ რეფორმას და ხაზი გაუსვა, რომ საქართველო მზადაა კონსტრუქციული წვლილი შეიტანოს გაეროს რეფორმის პროცესში.

Permanent Representative of Georgia David Bakradze, addressed the Informal Meeting of the General Assembly on the UN80 initiative. Permanent Representative welcomed the progress made on the initiative's three main workstreams and noted that this reform will help increase the accountability and transparency of the United Nations.

Permanent Representative emphasized the importance of adopting the resolution on "The Creation, Implementation, and Review of Mandates" and noted that when discussing the periodicity of resolutions, the context of each individual resolution requires careful analysis.

Permanent Representative expressed support for the optimization of UN programmatic activities and noted the importance of eliminating duplication among UN funds and agencies. In this regard, David Bakradze highlighted the prioritization of digital transformation and modern management tools.

David Bakradze also welcomed the planned reform to strengthen the system of UN Resident Coordinators and Humanitarian Coordinators and emphasized that Georgia stands ready to make a constructive contribution to the UN reform process.

გაეროსთან საქართველოს მუდმივი წარმომადგენელი დავით ბაქრაძე სიტყვით გამოვიდა ბირთვული იარაღის გაუვრცელებლობის შესახებ ხელშეკრულების (NPT) მიმოხილვის კონფერენციაზე. მუდმივმა წარმომადგენელმა დაადასტურა საქართველოს ერთგულება ხელშეკრულებისადმი, რომელიც გლობალური ბირთვული გაუვრცელებლობის რეჟიმის საფუძვლებს წარმოადგენს. ასევე, ხაზი გაესვა ხელშეკრულების სამივე საყრდენი მიმართულების (ბირთვული იარაღის გაუვრცელებლობა, ბირთვული განიარაღება, ბირთვული ენერგიის მშვიდობიანი გამოყენება) მნიშვნელობას და აღნიშნა, რომ მათ შორის ბალანსის დაცვა აუცილებელია საერთაშორისო უსაფრთხოების უზრუნველსაყოფად.

საქართველოს წარმომადგენელმა ისაუბრა გლობალური უსაფრთხოების გარემოსა და მზარდი ბირთვული რისკების შესახებ. ამ კონტექსტში, მუდმივმა წარმომადგერნელმა დაგმო რუსეთის ფედერაციის მიმდინარე აგრესია უკრაინის წინააღმდეგ, რაც საერთაშორისო სამართლის სერიოზული დარღვევაა და საფრთხეს უქმნის ბირთვულ უსაფრთხოებას, განსაკუთრებით ზაპორიჟიეს ატომური ელექტროსადგურის გარშემო არსებული ვითარების გათვალისწინებით. დავით ბაქრაძემ კიდევ ერთხელ დაადასტურა საქართველოს მხარდაჭერა უკრაინის სუვერენიტეტისა და ტერიტორიული მთლიანობის მიმართ.

განცხადების მნიშვნელოვანი ნაწილი დაეთმო საერთაშორისო ზედამხედველობის გამოწვევებს. აღინიშნა, რომ ოკუპირებული რეგიონები, აფხაზეთი და ცხინვალის რეგიონი, კვლავ რჩება საერთაშორისო მონიტორინგის მექანიზმების მიღმა, რაც ხელს უშლის გამჭირვალობას და ვერიფიკაციის პროცესს. ასევე, აღინიშნა, რომ საქართველომ აღკვეთა ბირთვული მასალების უკანონო ბრუნვის მცდელობები, თუმცა საერთაშორისო წარმომადგენლობის შეზღუდვა ამ რეგიონებში რჩება სერიოზულ გამოწვევად სრულფასოვანი მონიტორინგისთვის.

მუდმივმა წარმომადგენელმა ასევე დაადასტურა საქართველოს მხარდაჭერა ატომური ენერგიის საერთაშორისო სააგენტოს (IAEA) გარანტიების სისტემისა და ბირთვული გამოცდების ყოვლისმომცველი აკრძალვის ხელშეკრულების (CTBT) მიმართ.

Permanent Representative of Georgia to the UN, H.E. David Bakradze addressed the Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Permanent Representative reaffirmed Georgia’s steadfast commitment to the Treaty and described it as the cornerstone of the global nuclear non-proliferation regime. He highlighted the importance of all three pillars of the Treaty: non-proliferation, disarmament, and the peaceful use of nuclear energy and noted that balanced progress across them is essential for maintaining international security.

Permanent Representative spoke regarding the global security environment marked by increased tensions and rising nuclear risks. In this context, Georgia condemned the ongoing aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and called it as a serious violation of international law and the UN Charter. Permanent Representative raised concern over the nuclear safety and security risks at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and reaffirmed Georgia’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

Permanent Representative stressed that Georgia’s occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali remain beyond the oversight of international monitoring mechanisms, which undermines transparency and full verification mechanisms. He noted that while Georgia has successfully prevented attempts at the illicit trafficking of nuclear materials, the absence of an international oversight in these regions remains a serious challenge for comprehensive monitoring.

Permanent Representative confirmed Georgia’s support for the IAEA safeguards system as a fundamental component of the non-proliferation regime and reiterated Georgia's strong support for the universalization and entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).
