Fundado en 2008, La Vida Es Preciosa es un programa para la prevención de suicidio en adolescentes latinas en riesgo.

Con instalaciones en Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens y Manhattan, LIP es el único programa de este tipo en el país. En 2023, LIP expande su labor fuera de los límites de la ciudad de Nueva York, y ahora incluye programas en Poughkeepsie y Yonkers.

Cada tarde después de la escuela, las adolescentes participan en actividades que les ayudan a aliviar los factores de riesgo asociados con el suicidio. Estas actividades incluyes soporte académico, terapias de arte y creativas, música, actividades de salud y bienestar, y además de un servicio de apoyo a padres y familias.
