This past fall, NYPI launched its very first Credible Messenger Fellowship Program. This important initiative is in the midst of providing a year long training and support program for young people committed to channeling their lived experiences within the justice system into powerful work in violence interruption, outreach, and peer mentorship across NYC.

On March 20th, Progress Playbook visited NYPI to facilitate a workshop on entrepreneurship for our Credible Messenger Fellows. In this workshop, fellows brainstormed and identified their personal strengths, goals and barriers to starting their own businesses.
