Lowery and Bliss Plazas

We want to create a better public space underneath the number 7 Subway stations at 40th/46th Streets Join us!

In 2013, the Sunnyside District Management Association applied to DOT’s NYC Plaza Program to create a plaza in the underutilized spaces beneath the number 7 subway stations at 40th street and 46th streets. DOT has selected the proposal and will begin working with the community to gather input, generate ideas, and ultimately create a better pedestrian experience. The process will include public consultation and presentations to the Community Board.
