GMRF is thrilled to welcome Aldrin back from Tacloban, Philippines! 💙

Aldrin first came to the Dare to Dream House in 2014 after losing his leg at just four years old during Typhoon Haiyan. Now returning for his 7th visit, he continues his journey of strength and resilience with ongoing prosthetic care as he grows. 💪

We are endlessly grateful to our incredible Allies in Care at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia and to our generous donors who make Aldrin’s continued treatment possible.

When he’s not in school, Aldrin loves playing basketball 🏀 and singing 🎶 He shares his bright spirit with everyone around him. It’s an honor to be part of his journey and to watch him thrive year after year. 🤗

🌟 Marvelous Milestone🌟 We’re overjoyed to share that 4-year-old Marvin has received his new prosthetic legs!

Born without feet in Nicaragua, Marvin first came to GMRF in 2023. He underwent life-changing surgeries, followed by intensive rehab therapy, which led to his very first steps at two-years-old. During his most recent stay, Marvin worked closely with the extraordinary team at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, alongside Dr. Goldberg, to be custom fitted with new prosthetics. Thanks to his top-quality care, Marvin will soon return to his home country to start Kindergarten in stride.🦿

Moments like this are only possible with the unwavering generosity and support of our donors and Allies-in-Care. Your compassion quite literally helps children stand tall and step into brighter futures. Thank you all for helping us change lives, one child at a time. ❤️
