About the Society

St David’s Society is the senior Welsh heritage society of New York State.
It has its origins in 1835 as a benevolent society to care for immigrants with subsistence expenses. It has morphed into an agency for supporting students though increasingly expensive college studies.

This will be the annual Advent Service (Adfent a’r Nadolig) followed by a Te Bach next door on the 1st floor. We will have a service filled with songs and holiday joy; with a choir led by our Music Director Cynthia Powell
