Today we honor the strength, resilience, and courage of the Haitian people the first Black republic, born from a successful slave revolt and a bold declaration of freedom on January 1, 1804. Haiti’s independence reshaped history and became a beacon of liberation for oppressed people worldwide.

Today’s Back to School Giveaway & Park Clean-Up Day at Amersfort Park was a huge success! 🎒✏️🌳 A special thanks to our amazing partners — Hfrc Hfrc, Amersfort park Brooklyn Book Bodega Council Member Farah N. Louis The Bridge MultiCultural Project and for their incredible support in making this event possible. Together, we empowered our community and helped keep our park beautiful! 💪
